The Bedford County Players continue their 2017 season with the "habit-forming" off-Broadway musical hit Nunsence: The Mega-Musical!

Nunsense: The Mega-Musical is all the fun of the original Nunsense, but has now been super-sized to include more songs, more dances, and of course more NUNS! Join the original sisters of Hoboken, Sister Mary Hubert, Sister Mary Robert Ann, Sister Mary Amnesia, Sister Mary Leo and of course the Reverend Mother Sister Mary Regina as they are joined by their other sisters, priests, students from Mount St. Helen's School and the never-before-seen infamous convent cook, Sister Julia, Child of God.

Join the Little Sisters of Hoboken for a show full of music, dancing and comedy that will have Catholics and heathens alike falling out of their chairs before the evening is over. When their cook accidentally serves up some tainted soup, with some unfortunate consequences, the sisters find themselves strapped for cash. The nuns, with the help of the priests, brothers, and school students, decide to put on a benefit performance to raise money, before the health department discovers their secret.

The Cast for Nunsense: The Mega-Musical includes Nadine Glass (Reverend Mother Mary Regina), Samantha Diehl (Sister Mary Hubert), Miranda Koontz (Sister Robert Anne), Siairra Weidner (Sister Mary Amnesia), Shaunna Glessner (Sister Mary Leo), Susan Buttermark (Sister Julia, Child of God), Jill Leppert (Sister Wilhelm), Jim Dull (Father Virgil), Shane Lynn (Brother Brendan) and Brad Hengst (Brother Luke). The chorus includes Michele Greenawalt, Don Hershberger, Kaitlyn Horne, Olivia Knoster, A. J. Koontz, Olivia Knoster, Amy Packer, Autumn Packer, Kristina Peterson, Kari Schofield, Micah Shoup, Judy Williams, and Calvin Young.

Nunsense: The Mega-Musical is written by Outer Critics' Circle Award winner Dan Goggin and directed by Kay Dull. Assistant Directored by Matt Godissart, Choreographed by Kari Schofield, and Music Director by Shannen Snyder.

The Bedford County Players will be performing Nunsense: The Mega-Musical, at the Gardner Memorial Theater located in Old Bedford Village on June 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30PM and the Sunday matinees will start at 3:00PM. Tickets are $15! For reservations, please call our box office at 623-7555.
