Friday through Sunday, April 26-28, Millersville University will present; a university theatre production of Behind the Eye by Carson Kreitzer, an annual spring concert by the university's Flute Choir and Guitar Ensemble, and "Dueling Harpsichords" which will feature the university's Anita Renfroe and guest harpsichordist Sonia Lee.

What: University Theatre Production: "Behind the Eye" by Carson Kreitzer
Description: "Behind the Eye" is a new play from playwright Carson Kreitzer about the life of World War II photographer Lee Miller, a woman at the center of some of the most exciting times of the 20th century. A former Vogue model, Miller changed careers to become one of the leading photographers of a world at war.
Where: Dutcher Hall, Millersville University
When: Friday, April 26 at 8 p.m; Saturday, April 27 at 8 p.m & Sunday, April 28 at 2p.m.
Tickets: $10 general admission; $7 students with MU ID and senior citizens; $5 for students with MU ID super saver. This play contains strong language and mature themes, brief nudity; parental discretion is advised.

STUNS VIEWERS WITH EMOTIONAL CONTENT

What: "Lee Miller: Photographer of War"
Description: Miller's wartime photographs formulate an important statement by an artist who viewed the canvas of war through Surrealist eyes and documented the event with photographs and essays. The melange formed by Miller's temperament, artistic background and training, personal relationships, as well as the fact that she photographed for elite Vogue magazine, rather than an arm of the "hard news" media, influenced the nature of her documents of the Second World War. This exhibition contains graphic war images.
Where: The Gallery at the Winter Center, Millersville
Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday, 1-7 p.m.; Saturday, 1-4 p.m.
Tickets: Free and open to the public.

BROADWAY MELODIES PERFORMED BY
FLUTE CHOIR AND GUITAR ENSEMBLE

What: Millersville University's Flute Choir and Guitar Ensemble Spring Concert
About: The Millersville University Flute Choir and Guitar Ensemble will present their annual spring concert. The ensembles will perform a variety of music from Broadway show arrangements to pieces composed for these ensembles.
Where: The Ware Center, Lancaster
When: Sunday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m
Tickets: Free and open to the public.

TWO HARPSICHORDISTS BATTLE IT OUT

What: Sonia Lee & Anita Renfroe - "Dueling Harpsichords"
About: Guest harpsichordist Sonia Lee joins Millersville University's Anita Renfroe in presenting works by Bach, Soler and two unrecorded selections by Charles Burney and George F. Handel. Lee and Renfroe will be performing on two of the University's harpsichords, a Flemish double built by Richard Kingston, donated by Lancaster benefactor Thomas Hills Cook and a hubbard double built by local retired doctor Clark McSparren.

When: Sunday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m
