On Friday, October 19, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., Neil Berg will be returning to the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg, PA to present his outstanding show, "50 Years of Rock and Roll"! From the birth of rock 'n roll in in the 1940s, through the glory years of the '50s, '60s, and '70s, up until MTV in the early '80s, Neil Berg's 50 Years of Rock & Roll uses fascinating stories and groundbreaking music, with tributes to such important and iconic rock stars/groups/genres as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Frankie Valli, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Motown, Aretha Franklin, The Who, Janis Joplin, Woodstock, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, Linda Ronstadt, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Disco, New Wave, Journey, and others!

Neil Berg is the composer/co-lyricist of award-winning new rock musical The 12, and additional shows including the hit Off-Broadway musical "The Prince and the Pauper", the new Broadway-bound musical "Grumpy Old Men", "Tim and Scrooge" and "The Man Who Would Be King". Neil is the creator/co-producer of the #1 Broadway touring concerts in America, "Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway" which celebrated the Majestic Theater's 90th birthday in 2015 and was an outstanding hit among all of the patrons.

Featured in the "Neil Berg's 50 years of Rock and Roll" are several Broadway stars including Aaron Finley who made his Broadway debut in 2013, starring as Drew Boley in "Rock of Ages". He most recently was seen in the Broadway production of "Kinky Boots" as leading man, Charlie Price. In addition, Jarran Muse was most recently seen starring as Marvin Gaye on Broadway and the National Tour of Motown the Musical. Don't miss the other talented performers of this fantastic show!

Tickets starting at $42 can be purchased at gettysburgmajestic.org, by calling 717-337-8200, or at the Box Office, 25 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg. The Box Office is open Monday through Saturday, 12 - 7 p.m. and Sunday; 1-5 p.m. Free parking and roundtrip shuttle service for each performance is available from Gettysburg College's Constitution Parking Lot. Shuttle starts one hour before each performance and is ADA accessible. Metered parking is available at the Gettysburg Borough Parking Garage in Race Horse Alley as well as along Carlisle Street.

The Majestic Theater at the Jennifer and David LeVan Performing Arts Center is owned and operated by Gettysburg College as a cultural treasure for its campus and the community.
