Theatre Harrisburg continues its 88th season with a production Ken Ludwig's comedy classic LEND ME A TENOR at The Krevsky Production Center. Opening Friday, February 7, other performances are scheduled for February 8, 9, 13, 16, 21 and 23.

LEND ME A TENOR answers the question of what happens when an unscrupulous opera impresario arranges a gala performance with a world-renowned Italian tenor who is too indisposed to go on. This lightening-fast farce is filled with unpredictable plot twists and a cast of zany, colorful characters. It's a non-stop laugh fest.

The cast of LEND ME A TENOR includes David Richwine, Brandon Rubinic, Anthony Ariano, Christina Shindel, Ann Ariano, Alex Principe, Carole Olmsted and Angela Ruediger. The entire production is under the direction of David Olmsted.

Show times are Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. All seats are priced at $25 except Sunday, February 16 when all seats are only $15. Tickets may be purchased by visiting or calling the Whitaker Center box office at (717) 214-ARTS. To celebrate Valentine's Day on Friday, February 14th, Theatre Harrisburg is offering a special "Evening of Romance" performance of LEND ME A TENOR. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., guests will be treated to champagne, gourmet deserts, flowers, candy and a pre-show recital of romantic duets from the Broadway and opera stage performed by Jonathan and Beverly Hudson. The price is $75/couple, $40/person, and tickets are available at (717) 214-ARTS.
