Hershey Community Chorus to Present Spring Concerts

The Hershey Community Chorus will perform its Spring Concert, "Worthy to be Praised" on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 7:30 pm in The First United Methodist Church, located at 64 West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA, and again on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 4:00 pm in The Grace United Methodist Church, located at 433 East Main Street, Hummelstown, PA. This program will include four types of praise hymns, Praise by the Masters, Hymns of Praise, Praise of the People, and The Spirituals Praise. Dan Umholtz, house organist for The Hershey Theatre, will be the guest accompanist for these concerts.

Admission to these concerts is $18.00 for adults and $10.00 for children ages 6 to 11 years of age. Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more.

Tickets are now available from any chorus member, calling 508-4400, or emailing requests to info@HersheyCommunityChorus.org. Tickets will also be available at the door for each concert.

The Hershey Community Chorus, a non-audition chorus, is under the direction of James Hoffmann and has members from Hershey and the surrounding communities. First organized in 1934, The Chorus performs spring and Christmas concerts each year and also sings at many events in the surrounding communities.
