Hershey Area Playhouse Sets Fall, Winter Drama Camps

Hershey Area Playhouse Theatre Academy announce its fall and winter drama camps for young actors. The fall session will run from September 20-November 8, 2014 and the winter session will be held from January 17-March 7, 2015.

Students entering grades K-12 are invited to participate in this year's drama camps offered in both the fall and winter sessions. In "Creative Kids," campers in grades K-3 will be exposed to story drama and will learn to act through storytelling and games. Intermediate students in grades 4-6 will focus on expanding expressiveness and developing actors' tools by various theatre games and improvisation practice. Campers in grades 7-12 can participate in "Theatre Arts Studio 1: Improv & Comedy" and combine the spontaneity of improvisation acting with other solid acting skills.
