Described as a “beautiful soprano with wickedly good comic timing” (DC Theatre Arts), Suzanne Lane makes her debut at The Green Room 42 with a heartfelt and hilariously honest musical journey to motherhood. From Kansas City beginnings to an Oklahoma love story (featuring Hamilton’s Elvie Ellis) and finally to life in Harlem with baby Ramona, Suzanne traces the winding road that built her family. The evening blends musical theater classics, New York favorites, and contemporary gems by Brandi Carlile and Alison Krauss, culminating in tender songs of new parenthood. Dan Pardo joins Suzanne on piano, and a portion of ticket sales will support Harlem’s Brotherhood Sister Sol.
