The Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY is presenting Plan B, a world premiere musical. This show, part of their CabarETC series, will take place on April 7 & 8 at 7:30 pm. Plan B provides a hilarious and endearing perspective on entering middle age, featuring 15 original songs. The production, directed by the Hangar's Michael Barakiva, will take place at the Hangar Theatre, located at 801 Taughannock Blvd.

You reach a moment in your life when you have to stop and take stock of everything you've accomplished and everything else you wish you had. Plan B explores those moments - the ups, the downs, and musical numbers in between. Written by and starring Michael Hicks (music/lyrics) and Emily Mikesell (book), both making their Hangar Theatre debut.

"This has been a project that I have been collaborating on over several years. I'm so happy to be able to bring it to a space like the Hangar for its world premiere production," remarks Hangar's Artistic Director Michael Barakiva. In addition to directing the production, Barakiva will be facilitating a talkback with the artists after each performance to get audience feedback. Plan B features 15 original songs that the actors perform while accompanying themselves with eight different musical instruments throughout the course of the show. You will not want to miss this cabaret style musical inspired by the hilarity and disappointment of middle age.
