NoMads Art Collective Announces Cast And Designers For World Premiere Of MR. KOTOMOTO Image

NoMads Art Collective has announced the cast and design team for their upcoming, world premiere production of MR. KOTOMOTO IS DEFINITELY NOT WHITE written by Ben Claus and directed by Scott Jackoway, both artistic directors and founders of NoMads Art Collective.

The cast features Bethany Arrington (Beatrice), Shea Lee (Josie), Ryan Leonard (Bruce), and Shea Petersen (Reed).

The production team includes Danielle Szabo (Dramaturg), Gin To (Assistant Director), Alyssa Mohn (Scenic/Props Designer), Connor Ciesil (Sound Designer), Megan Pirtle (Costume Designer), Jay Koch (Lighting Designer), and Claire Ashley (Puppet Designer).

MR. KOTOMOTO IS DEFINITELY NOT WHITE is NoMads’ first fully produced show and will run from March 29 - April 21, 2019 at Strawdog Theatre.

MR. KOTOMOTO IS DEFINITELY NOT WHITE is a powerful, immediate play, recognizable to anyone who has worked in the service industry. As Mr. Kotomoto's Teas expands to selling dreams, a manager’s offensive email forces three employees to navigate their compromised morals and changing friendships. MR. KOTOMOTO IS DEFINITELY NOT WHITE is about the struggle of needing to work in a system you do not enjoy in order to survive.
