MGR Closes CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES, 10/30

A Second Helping comes to Central New York at Auburn's Merry-Go-Round Playhouse for 24 performances - October 13 - 30. 
 
It's 1969, the world is changing, and the ladies of the church basement are dealing with some changes of their own.  Watch as these women find strength in each other with their hilarious antics and down-to-earth common sense.  Visit with some old friends in this New York State premiere.
 
With their heartwarming humor and hilarious antics, Church Basement Ladies 2: A Second Helping takes us from serving the High School students at the Luther League Banquet to a church sponsored Missionary Night and the rise and fall of a Viking's Super Bowl Sunday. From the elderly matriarch of the kitchen to the young mom-to-be, these women find strength in each other as they deal with the joys and upheavals from below the "House of God!"

Director Curt Wollan returns to MGR after directing the original Church Basement Ladies in 2008, and is the producer/director for both original productions along with Wendy Short-Hayes, who is the original choreographer.  Syracuse native Dennis Curley is the co-composer and Mark Goodman returns as Musical Director for his third show this season.
 
The talented cast of Church Basement Ladies 2 features Katherine Proctor, Monica Heuser, Sandra Karas, Jessica Taige and Ed Romanoff.
 
General Admission Tickets are $34-$40. Discounts are available for Seniors (62+) Students (w/ID) and Youth (under 18). Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more.
