Jamie Kennedy Comes To Bay Street Theater's Comedy Club 8/30

By: Aug. 17, 2010

The Comedy Club at Bay Street Theatre continues the laughs in August as Hollywood favorite, Jamie Kennedy, brings his comedy to the stage on Monday, August 30 at 8 pm. Kennedy rose to fame with a scene-stealing performance in Wes Craven's SCREAM and SCREAM 2. In 2002, Kennedy created the hit show THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT in which he portrayed a myriad of characters each week. Most recently, Kennedy joined the cast of CBS' GHOST WHISPERER opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Tickets are still available for Joe Piscopo and Bobby Slayton, two comedy greats, who will perform on Monday, August 23 at 8 pm. Piscopo is a jack of all trades seen in such films as JOHNNY DANGEROUSLY and WISE GUYS, on Broadway as Vince Fontaine in GREASE! and on numerous TV shows and specials including years on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Audiences around the country may recognize Slaton, a true "comic's comic" from his scene-stealing roles in movies such as GET SHORTY, ED WOOD, BANDITS and DREAMGIRLS.

All comedy performances begin at 8 pm. Tickets are $60 and sell out quickly. To purchase tickets go to www.baystreet.org or call the Bay Street Box Office at 631-725-9500.
