Gamut Theatre Group kicks off their 25th Anniversary Season with a Stage Door Series Production of Moliere's Tartuffe, on September 15, 2017 at Gamut Theatre located at 15 N. 4th Street in downtown Harrisburg.
Banned when it was first presented, Molière's Tartuffe is satire of religious hypocrisy at its funniest. Witness the hilarity as Tartuffe wreaks havoc on an unsuspecting family of French nobility. Will he get away with it? Find out when Gamut's Stage Door Series presents a staged reading of this funny and prescient play by one of France's most renowned and beloved playwrights. Stage Door Series performances take place in our beautiful and intimate Capital Blue Lobby. The box office and Peggy's Pub will open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the performance are Bring Your Own Price, where any size donation buys your admission.
