FARNDALE CHRISTMAS CAROL at She's Smith Opens 12/1 Image

O'Connell & Company, in partnership with Shea's Smith Theatre presents a limited engagement of the British comedy, The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Presents A Christmas Carol (AKA: FARNDALE...CHRISTMAS) by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin, Jr. onstage at the Shea's Smith Theatre December 1, 2 & 3, 2017.

FARNDALE...CHRISTMAS is directed by Joey Bucheker and stars Mary Kate O'Connell, DANIEL LENDZIAN, MELISSA LEVENTHAL, Stephanie Bax & CONSTANCE CALDWELL.

The creative team includes: Tim Goehrig (Stage Manager), Matt Myers (Set Designer), Adam M. Wall (Costumes), Emily Pici (Props/Website Designer/Logos Design) & Mary Kate O'Connell (Artistic/Executive Director).

Show description: In a festive mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of "A Christmas Carol". Very, very loosely based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, they enthusiastically portray a dizzy array of characters from the Dickensian favorite (and a few which aren't), engineer some novel audience participation while bravely contending with an intrusive PA system and stretch their vocal cords and feet around two original, show stopping songs.
"Farndale...Carol" is presented through Samuel French, Inc.

FARNDALE...CHRISTMAS is onstage at
Shea's Smith Theatre
658 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14202
Friday, Dec. 1st at 8pm • Saturday, Dec. 2nd at 2pm & 7pm • Sunday, Dec. 3rd at 2pm.
