DELIVERY: A Triptych Crushes The Patriarchy With An Electric Beat
![]()
From The Functional Shoes comes a glimpse into three different worlds and the strange threads that bind them.
Three women fail to get the message across, plastic animals come to life, teenagers get left out of history books, and fresh new, original music is created and distorted in this funny, hyper-aware, and delightfully abstract hour-long triptych. Delivery: A Triptych runs for one weekend only at The Tank, May 10th-13th at 9:30pm. Buy your tickets here.
About the Team: The Functional Shoes is an award-winning* pop-up theatre company based in New York City. We use live music and original texts to create nonlinear stories on stage. Our stories bring people from the sidelines to the spotlight. *Producer's Pick of the Fringe & Critic's Pick: Romeo + Juliet + Anybodys (2017 Cincinnati Fringe Festival)
The Tank is a non-profit arts presenter serving emerging artists engaged in the pursuit of new ideas and forms of expression. We serve over 2,000 artists every year in over 800 performances in our new home on 36th Street, and work across all disciplines, including theater, comedy dance, film music, public affairs, and storytelling. Our goal is to foster an environment of inclusiveness and remove the burden of cost from the creation of new work for artists launching their careers and experimenting within their art form. We keep ticket prices affordable and view our work as democratic, opening up both the creation and attendance of the arts to all.
