Canto de las Americas Presents COMPLETE VOCAL ARTISTRY
COMPLETE VOCAL ARTISTRY is an intensive program focusing on vocal technique and dramatic and musical interpretation. Classical singers at all levels of development ages 18 and above are welcome. By upholding the centuries-old Bel Canto vocal tradition, we give our participants a passport to the present realities of the operatic world, and to a solid future of healthy, expressive singing.
Our master instructors possess the expertise and the human touch to bring out the personal best in our participants; we aim to give them tools, empower them, help them, and support them in their quest to discover their optimal vocal selves, and to conquer the difficult summits of technique, style, and vocal wisdom.
A maximum of 10 participants will be admitted to ensure the highest level of individual attention.
· Technique & the Craft of Performing with Verónica Villarroel
· Technique & Style with Francisco Casanova
· 30 total hours of instruction
· Daily one-on-one sessions with faculty members in a group setting
· Anatomy of the Voice
· Public Concert Performance
· Participants will be considered for guest soloist engagements with the Queens Symphony Orchestra in the 2017-2018 season
· Participants will be considered for operatic roles in future projects

· All applications must include a pre-screening video recording with 2 contrasting pieces.
· Live auditions will be held in NYC in October 2016.

· Professionals in career who would like to continue training to refine their vocal technique.
