Mat Eisenstein, a Usdan alum and current Assistant Conductor and Keyboard 2 for Broadway's Charlie & the Chocolate Factory served as musical director for two of his "Charlie" cast mates,

F. Michael Haynie (Augustus Gloop) and Monette McKay (female ensemble, Understand-Violet Beauregard), for two assembly performances at Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts.

They opened the concert with a duet Stud & Babe from I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. This was followed by solo performances of songs from Charlie in the Chocolate Factory, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hamilton-An American Musical, and Dear Evan Hansen. The concert concluded with Little Shop of Horrors' "Suddenly, Seymour."

Afterwards, the three met with students from Usdan's Leadership Institute, followed by a Q & A session with Usdan's Theater Troupe and Junior Cast from this summer's production of Into the Woods.
