Adirondack Theatre Festival Announces Concert Presentation of Frank Wildhorn's New Musical THE SONG OF BERNADETTE Image

A concert presentation of music from Frank Wildhorn's new musical, The Song of Bernadette, will be part of Adirondack Theatre Festival's 23rd season of professional theater. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 30, and Monday, July 31, at the Charles R. Wood Theater.

The Song of Bernadette is about Saint Bernadette and her visions of the Virgin Mary. A cast of Broadway singers will perform never-before-heard songs by Wildhorn and Robin Lerner.

Wildhorn is best known for composing Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Civil War, Dracula the Musical, Bonnie & Clyde and Wonderland. Wildhorn wrote Whitney Houston's international hit "Where Do Broken Hearts Go."

Actors include Carrie Manolakas (Broadway: Mamma Mia), Jill Paice (Broadway: An American in Paris), Justin Gregory Lopez (Off-Broadway: Bare), Jessica Phillips (Broadway: Leap of Faith), Tad Wilson (Broadway: Rock of Ages), Maritza Bostic and Joey Calveri (Broadway: Wonderland). Jason Howland (Broadway: Jekyll & Hyde,music supervisor and arranger) will music direct.

Indie Theatrical is producing The Song of Bernadette. Tickets are $26-32 and are available at the Wood Theater Box Office, online at ATFestival.org or by calling (518)480-4878. The Wood Theater is located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls.

About Adirondack Theatre Festival
Founded in 1994, ATF is a non-profit, professional theater. Each summer ATF produces a season of theater for an audience of both locals and tourists (9,000+) using professional artists from New York City and across the country. Last summer yielded a record-breaking season of sold-out performances, nearly doubling attendance and subscribership in just the past two years.
