ALL SHOOK UP Comes to Woodstock Playhouse
The Elvis-Meets-Shakespeare Jukebox Musical 'All Shook Up' comes to the stage of the iconic Woodstock Playhouse featuring the Woodstock Playhouse Summer Theatre Cast 2017, a regional company widely known for some of the finest performances in our NY & tri-state region.
The chart-topping hits of the 'King of Rock 'n' Roll', Elvis Presley, meet the story based on Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night'. This song & dance Juke Box Musical, unfurls flying the colors of romance, secret crushes and mistaken identity, like a sunlit flag on Independence Day. The story takes place in 1955 when into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets. This hip-swiveling musical fantasy will have you jumpin' out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Don't Be Cruel." It's the perfect easy going climax for your summer's end; a Woodstock Hudson Valley high.
