Young Actors Studio and Performing Arts Theater

Dallas Young Actors Studio (also listed as Young Actors Studio & Performing Arts Center) is a Dallas-area acting school for children and teens that has operated for more than 30 years. The program specializes in on-camera acting for commercials, television and film, and also runs a youth filmmaking department covering pre-production (writing, producing, budgeting, casting, set design), production (directing, cinematography, lighting, sound, wardrobe, makeup) and post-production (editing, graphic design, marketing). Summer acting performance camps are offered in June and July alongside year-round classes and workshops; camp information is released each spring and sessions frequently fill early, with waiting lists maintained. Prospective students schedule a free audition and evaluation by appointment. Classes are offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
