Yorktown Theatre Workshop

Yorktown Stage runs what it bills as Northern Westchester's most popular and affordable summer theatre camp, for children ages 5-13 entering grades 1-9. Campers rotate through workshops in improv, dance, staging, crafts, rehearsal time and counselor time, plus theatre games that build performance skills and confidence and traditional camp activities for teamwork and social connection. Each one-week session pairs a hip hop unit with a musical title, and every week ends with a 2:00 PM performance on the final day that audiences are welcome to attend. Every camper receives a Yorktown Stage T-shirt. Staff are CPR and First Aid certified and supervise campers from drop-off to pick-up, and extended care is available mornings and afternoons for an hourly fee.

Drop-off 9:00-9:30 AM, pick-up 3:00-3:30 PM; extended care 8:00-9:00 AM and 3:30-6:00 PM at $8.00/hour; performance at 2:00 PM on the last day of each week; CPR and First Aid certified staff; health form and vaccination history required
