YMCA Camp Weaver

YMCA Camp Weaver is a 132-acre camp in southeast Greensboro, North Carolina, less than 15 minutes from downtown, offering both day and overnight programs. Summer overnight camp runs as themed one-week sessions for ages 7 to 16, with campers choosing three morning clinic activities such as archery, ceramics, drama, dance, skateboarding, podcasting, mountain biking, paintball, outdoor living skills and farm discovery. Waterfront activities include a lake blob, water trampoline, water zipline, paddleboarding and a giant slide; the camp also has a pool, ropes course and skate park. Cabins are heated and air conditioned with private bathrooms, and the facility is nut-free. Camp Weaver also offers spring, fall and winter camps, leadership programs, outdoor education and group rentals, and is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Weekly themed one-week overnight sessions plus summer day camp, Leader in Training and Counselor in Training programs. Stayover Camp Weekends connect consecutive sessions for an added fee. Need-based financial assistance is offered on a sliding scale. Camp also runs spring, fall and winter camps and year-round group programs, retreats and outdoor education.
