YMCA Camp Cory

YMCA Camp Cory sits on the shores of Keuka Lake in Penn Yan, New York, and is operated by the YMCA of Greater Rochester. The camp has served families for more than 100 years and offers both day camp and one-week overnight sessions running from late June through late August, plus a two-week sailing camp, a three-week Counselor-in-Training program, family retreats and an adults-only wellness weekend. Campers live in cabins staffed by two counselors and grouped into age-based villages led by an experienced village head. Activity areas include sailing, canoeing and kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, high and low ropes, archery, athletics, STEM, arts and crafts, ceramics, dance, drama, guitar and outdoor cooking. Camp Cory is accredited by the American Camp Association and operates as an electronics-free community.

Sunday check-in is staggered by village between 3:00 and 5:00 pm; Saturday check-out is 9-11 am. Two-week sailing camp and a three-week Counselor-in-Training program (must be 16) are also offered, along with weekly themed programming, family retreats and a women's wellness weekend.
