Woodlawn Theatre Academy for Performing Arts

Woodlawn Theatre Academy is the education arm of the Woodlawn Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, serving performers from age 5 through high school seniors. Founded in 2012, the Theatre provides year-round educational theatre arts programming for young San Antonio area performers of every skill level, with training in vocals, dance and acting. The Academy's Leg Up classes offer professional training in musical theatre, dance, vocal music and stage acting, with trial classes available for $10 per class. Junior Productions give students hands-on experience in performing as well as tech, makeup and costuming. The Woodlawn Academy Premier is a performance company of students ages 11 and up selected by Academy faculty for their technique, attitude, talent and character. Summer Theatre Camps teach kids ages 5 to 18 to sing, dance and perform on stage and behind the scenes.
