Wohelo Luther Gulick Camps

Wohelo Camps are girls' residential camps in Raymond, Maine, founded in 1907 by Dr. Luther Halsey Gulick and Charlotte Vetter Gulick, with family leadership continuing ever since. The organization comprises two camps set a half mile apart, each with its own facilities, daily schedule and program levels. Little Wohelo serves campers ages 6-12 on gentle terrain with a large sandy beach and activities pitched to younger campers' skill levels. Sebago Wohelo is more wooded, sits on high rocks above Sebago Lake, and offers a wider range of activities at more advanced levels. The camp emphasizes cooperation, teamwork, respecting differences, self-confidence and responsibility. The 2026 full season runs seven weeks from June 25 to August 13, with shorter half sessions offered as a one-summer introduction. Camperships are available and Wohelo is ACA accredited.

Little Wohelo serves campers ages 6-12 and Sebago Wohelo serves ages 12-15. Half sessions are intended as a one-summer introduction to camping; the camp's stated preference is the full seven-week season.
