Windsor Light Music Theatre Summer Camp

Windsor Light Music Theatre is a registered charitable community theatre in Windsor, Ontario, established in 1948, that produces full-scale Broadway musicals each spring and fall. Its youth education arm offers several programs led by members of the WLMT community, blending vocal, dance and theatrical training. The Summer Drama Camps for ages 8 to 15 run in two age-banded sessions in which participants learn introductory acting, singing and dancing skills through games and team-building activities, culminating in an end-of-camp musical performance; registration opens in the spring. Other offerings include the Teen Theatre Showcase intensive for high school performers, the Rising Stars Musical Theatre Program for ages 7 to 10, the year-long Youth Performance Program for ages 10 to 17, and the Broadway Bound Workshop Series for grades 4 to 11.

Summer Drama Camp runs in two sessions, ages 8-11 and ages 12-15, with registration opening in the spring. A Teen Theatre Showcase intensive serves high school performers ages 13-17. Year-round options include the Rising Stars Musical Theatre Program for ages 7-10 (registration opens in June), the Youth Performance Program for ages 10-17 with fall auditions and Saturday rehearsals, and the Broadway Bound Workshop Series for grades 4-11.
