Theater Bootcamp at Compass Rose Theater!

Theater Bootcamp is a one-week intensive day camp at Compass Rose Theater in Annapolis, Maryland, scheduled for the week of July 20, 2026 for ages 12 and up. The camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is designed to give a solid foundation to beginners as well as students with some onstage experience. Work covers basic acting technique including voice and diction, movement, the art of the audition, and improvisation, with warm-ups and exercises alongside scene work and monologues, and it ends with a presentation for family and friends. Compass Rose Theater is a nonprofit professional teaching theater company that also produces a full season of plays and runs fall and winter/spring classes. Each summer camp week is registered for individually.
