About this camp
Walnut Hill School for the Arts hosts a three-week Summer Theater Intensive on its Natick, Massachusetts campus, running July 11 to August 1, 2026 for students ages 13-17. The program is built around a single musical production - Mamma Mia! in 2026 - in which every student is cast, paired with daily classes in acting, musical theater, and dance that balance process and performance. Classes, rehearsals, and performances take place in the Delbridge Family Center for the Arts, which houses a flexible 170-seat performance space and multiple dance studios. Both day and boarding options are offered; boarding students live in campus dormitories, and residential staff organize weekend trips to Boston landmarks. Admission is by video audition submitted through Slideroom, and need-based financial aid may be available.
Boarding and day options; all meals included with either. Admission by video audition (one monologue under 2 minutes and one 16-32 bar musical theater selection) submitted via Slideroom. Application deadline extended to July 1. Current Walnut Hill students are not eligible.
