School of Rock Walwick

School of Rock Waldwick is a performance-based music school at 152 Franklin Turnpike in Waldwick, New Jersey, located next to Madison Dog Resort and across from APC. Its curriculum pairs weekly private instruction with weekly group band rehearsals, and students perform live at area music venues every few months. Age-tiered programs include Rookies for children ages 6-8 with no experience, Rock 101 for ages 8-13, the flagship Performance Program for ages 8-18, Songwriting for students 12 and older, an audition-based House Band, the national AllStars tour, and an Adult Program for students 18 and over. Instruction is offered on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals at beginner through advanced levels. The school is owned and managed by Susan, who joined as an instructor in 2010, and Kurt Haller, and employs a staff of working professional musicians.

Programs by age: Rookies (6-8), Rock 101 (8-13), Performance (8-18), Songwriting (12+), House Band (17 and under), AllStars (17 and under), Adult Program (18+). Studio hours Monday-Thursday 2pm-9pm and Friday 2pm-7pm; closed weekends.
