About this camp
School of Rock San Mateo is located on B Street between 7th and 8th Avenue and serves Foster City, San Carlos, Redwood City, Hillsborough, Burlingame, Millbrae, Belmont and San Francisco. Programs combine one weekly private lesson with one weekly group band rehearsal. Rookies serves ages 6-7, Rock 101 covers ages 8-13 using simplified classic rock songs, and the Performance Program (ages 8-18) assigns students songs and parts and stages live shows at local venues every few months. A Songwriting program runs from age 12 and an Adult Program is open to students 18 and over. Instruction covers guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano and vocals, with School of Rock Remote available for online lessons. Students may audition for the House Band or the national AllStars tour.
