School of Rock Flowermound

School of Rock Flower Mound is a performance-based music school in the Kroger Shopping Center at Cross Timbers Rd. and Churchill Dr. Programs pair a weekly private lesson with a weekly group band rehearsal. Rookies serves ages 6-7 with a single group lesson introducing chords, rhythm and song structure; Rock 101 (ages 8-13) simplifies classic rock songs for beginners; the Performance Program (ages 8-18) assigns students songs and parts and prepares them for live shows at local venues every few months. Songwriting is offered from age 12, and an Adult Program runs for students 18 and over. Instruction covers guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano and vocals at beginner through advanced levels, and remote one-on-one lessons are available. Selected students can audition for the House Band or the national AllStars summer tour.
