School of Rock Austin

School of Rock Austin is a performance-based music school on West Anderson Lane in the Northcross Mall area of Austin, Texas. Instruction pairs weekly one-on-one private lessons with weekly group band rehearsals on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals. Programs are organized by age and experience: Rookies for ages 6-7, Rock 101 for ages 8-13, the flagship Performance Program for ages 8-18, Songwriting for age 12 and over, an Adult Program for ages 18 and up, and School of Rock Remote for online one-on-one lessons. Performance Program students rehearse toward live shows at local Austin music venues every few months, and top students under 18 can audition for the school's House Band or the national AllStars summer tour. Teaching follows the School of Rock Method, and instructors are working professional musicians. The school also runs summer music camps.
