SOOP Theatre Company Virtual Summer Online Workshops

SOOP Theatre Company is a theatre organization based at 530 Fifth Avenue in Pelham, New York, presenting professional productions through its SOOP Acting Company while running youth training under the SOOP Theatre Arts Repertory (STAR) banner. STAR workshops run in a ten-week class format with no audition required and are grouped by grade: Alphabet SOOPers (K-2), Child Stars (grades 3-5) and Pre-Teens (grades 6-8). Students work on diction and projection, singing, creative movement, ensemble building, character development and an abridged script or musical score, culminating in a low-pressure final sharing for family and friends. The organization also offers kids' mainstage productions, STAR preschool programs, private voice, piano, guitar and banjo instruction including a summer lesson track, public speaking classes and college preparatory coaching.
