Reagle Youth Theatre's Summer Intensive provides a challenging and supportive environment for the dedicated young theatre artist. This month-long program features seasoned faculty and esteemed master teachers, offering daily classes in acting, dance, and singing, as well as a variety of specialized theatre workshops (improv, puppetry, actin for the camera, directing, design, audition prep, precision dance, and more). Students also have the opportunity to participate in weekly Broadway master classes, with past guests including Broadway's Katy Geraghty (Into the Woods, Groundhog Day), Andy Huntington Jones (CATS, Cinderella, Book of Mormon), Brian Dillon (Aladdin), Judine Somerville (Hairspray OBC, Radio City Rockettes) and more. In addition to these process-based classes, students will apply their skills in rehearsal for a full-scale production of a junior musical, to be performed at the culmination of our program. RYT operates under the umbrella of the award-winning Reagle Music Theatre, providing unique access and insights into our professional operations and artists. Summer intensive registration is open to students in grades 3-12, but a placement audition is required for classes and casting.
