Purchase Youth Theatre

Purchase College (SUNY) runs Summer Youth Programs in the Arts for students in grades 6-9 through its School of Continuing Education, on the college campus at 735 Anderson Hill Road in Purchase, NY. The 2026 season offers three two-week sessions: June 29-July 10, July 13-24, and July 27-August 7, meeting Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Middle-school offerings listed for 2026 are Young Artists, Young Vocalists, Young Writers and Young Filmmakers; rising 9th graders may instead enroll in eligible Precollege programs. Student-to-staff ratio is no more than 10:1, and each program concludes with a performance, publication, exhibition or other culminating event for family and friends. Registration discounts are available for a second child in the family and for Purchase employees and alumni, and an Empire State Arts Scholarship is offered.

Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. No extended-day services. All youth program students bring their own lunch.
