New Country Day Camp at 14th Street Y

New Country Day Camp is the summer day camp of the 14th Street Y (the Sol Goldman YM-YWHA), part of Educational Alliance in downtown Manhattan. Campers entering Kindergarten through 8th grade travel by air-conditioned bus from Manhattan and Brooklyn stops to the 75-acre Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds on Staten Island, where hiking trails, swimming pools and open meadows support more than 20 activities including daily instructional and free swim. The camp seeks to create an open-tent Jewish camp culture welcoming to campers of all backgrounds and beliefs, and runs an inclusion model with a Support Program for campers of all needs and abilities. Sessions run two weeks each with a one-week mini session in August. New Country Pride Camp, for grades K-6, serves LGBTQ young people, their families and allies.

Serves campers entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Rates: 1 week $1,575; 2 weeks $3,150; 3 weeks $4,550; 4 weeks $5,450; 5 weeks $6,375; 6 weeks $7,075; full 7-week summer $7,700. Tuition includes lunch and afternoon snack five days a week, daily towel service, round-trip air-conditioned bus transportation from stops in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and a camper shirt. A 14% member discount and sibling discounts of 10-15% apply; financial assistance applications were due January 14, 2026. New Country Pride Camp for grades K-6 runs June 29 - July 10.
