NEMPAC Junior Musical Theatre & Dance Workshops

NEMPAC's Junior Musical Theatre & Dance Workshops are week-long summer programs for children ages 4 to 6, condensing the organization's school-year offerings into a single week. Mornings focus on musical theatre, with students exploring storytelling using their voices, bodies and imaginations to bring characters and stories to life. Afternoons introduce the fundamentals of dance, imagination and musicality through games, props and rhythm instruments. Sessions run 9am to 4pm Monday through Thursday and 9am to 1pm Friday at NEMPAC's 9 Hull Street location in Boston's North End. Summer 2026 offered three themed weeks: Take Flight (week of August 10), Into the Trees (week of August 17) and Under the Sea (week of August 24).
