Mount Tom Day Camp

Mount Tom Day Camp has operated in New Rochelle, New York since 1955 and is the closest private suburban day camp to New York City, convenient to lower Westchester. It is a traditional day camp and a leader in early childhood programming, serving children roughly ages 3 to 15 with full-day, mini-day and half-day early childhood schedules. The camp's defining feature is its staff model: each group is led by an experienced professional educator who stays with the children for the entire camp day, which the camp credits with helping campers build friendships, take healthy risks and gain self-esteem. Activities include swim, athletics, performing and creative arts, outdoor adventure, nature, horseback riding, ninja warrior, circus arts and STEM. Additional programs include Leaders in Training and the CHOICE program. Mount Tom is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Three schedule options: Full Day 9am-4pm (ages 3-15), Mini Day 9am-2pm (ages 3-5 1/2), and Half Day Early Childhood 8:30am-12:30pm (ages 3-4 1/2). Full Day rates run $3,475 (2 weeks) to $8,950 (8 weeks); Mini Day $2,950-$7,100; Half Day Early Childhood $2,450-$5,450.
