Lyrics Awesome Summer Camp

The Lyric's AWESOME! Summer Camp is a three-week theatre day camp run by the Lyric Theatre in Stuart, Florida. Campers explore drama, dance, music and technical theatre production, and staff use the performing arts as a medium to teach teamwork, self-discipline, problem-solving, tolerance and kindness. The camp's stated motto is having good character onstage and off, and each session is built around a theme that campers develop into a final sharing performance. Campers who prefer working behind the scenes can join the Stage Crew to build props and scenery and help run the show. Traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, game shows, movie days and outdoor recreation round out the schedule. Two sessions ran in 2026, in June and July, and scholarship and counselor-in-training programs are available.

Each session runs three weeks and supports a theme promoting teamwork, self-discipline, problem-solving, tolerance and kindness, culminating in a sharing performance. Campers who prefer not to perform can join the Stage Crew to build props and scenery and help run the show.
