Discover Acting (Elementary School)

Discover Acting is a one-week half-day camp offered by The Globe School at Actors' Theatre of Columbus for students entering grades 1-5. The 2026 session ran June 1-5 from 9am to 12:30pm. The camp introduces young actors to the basics of theatre through games, improvisation and scene work, and campers perform a short showcase on the final day. Tuition is $250 per student; the discount code 2CAMPS takes $50 off each camp when two or more are purchased, and need-based scholarships are available by application. Actors' Theatre of Columbus is a 45-year-old company that presents free professional theatre in the Schiller Park Amphitheatre, and its Globe School camps run alongside the summer season with training in acting, improv, play creation, costume and scenic design and sketch comedy.
