Dance and Creative Arts Camp

Synergy Dance Studio is a dance school in the Westlake area of southwest Austin, Texas, offering classes for ages two and up at levels from beginner through pre-professional in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, pointe, modern, drill team and contemporary. Its summer program consists of themed weekly camps taught by studio staff and divided by age and experience. Preschool camps for ages 3 to 5 run three hours a day and combine two dance classes with crafts, tumbling, theatre and games. School-age camps for ages 4.5 to 10 run five hours and include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, acting, tumbling and arts and crafts, ending with a Friday parent show. Intensives for ages 7 to 18 focus on technique and style, with options including contemporary, drill team preparation, Broadway Bound musical theatre, jazz/hip hop and ballet/modern. The studio also runs competitive teams and adult classes.

Three camp tracks: preschool 3-hour camps (ages 3-5, 9am-12pm with optional extended hour), school-age themed 5-hour day camps (ages 4.5-10, 10am-3pm with optional 9am start), and 3- to 5-hour intensives (ages 7-18) including Stretch & Conditioning, Contemporary, Drill Team, Broadway Bound musical theatre, Jazz/Hip Hop, Ballet/Modern and Jazz/Tap/Ballet. Multi-camp discounts of 5-15% and a $10 sibling discount apply. No refunds; credits given for cancellations at least two weeks out.
