ComedySportz Improv Camp

ComedySportz Summer Camps are run by CSz Houston, the Houston School of Improv, at its new Good Friend Theater on Jones Road. The day camp adapts ComedySportz, the clean family-friendly improv comedy show that has run in Houston for more than 35 years, into a week-long program for kids (ages 8-10), tweens (ages 11-13), and teens (ages 14-17). Campers learn the games played in ComedySportz performances and work on confidence, commitment, listening skills, collaboration, acceptance, and creativity. Sessions run mornings Monday through Friday and finish with a Friday showcase in which campers perform their own improv comedy for friends and family. The organization also offers a High School League, year-round improv classes, and scholarship opportunities.

Classes run 9am-12pm Monday through Friday with a showcase performance on Friday for friends and family. All classes and showcases are held at the Good Friend Theater.
