Arvada Center Summer Arts Camps - Musical Theatre Teen Intensive

The Arvada Center Teen Intensive is a four-week musical theatre summer camp for students ages 14 to 18 that mirrors the rehearsal and production process of the Arvada Center's professional Main Stage musicals. Participants work with industry professionals to refine performance skills and apply them directly in building characters for a fully staged show, gaining insight into the entire theatrical production process. The 2026 production was The Addams Family, with rehearsals June 15 through July 3, technical rehearsals July 6-9 and performances on the Main Stage July 10 and 11. Tuition is $1200 and includes two tickets to a performance; a $300 non-refundable deposit holds a space. All students audition (May 16, 2026) and casting is announced by May 26.

Rehearsals Monday-Friday June 15-July 3, 9:00am-4:00pm; technical rehearsals Monday-Thursday July 6-9, 1:00-9:00pm; performances in the Main Stage Theatre Friday and Saturday July 10-11 at 7:00pm. Mandatory auditions Saturday, May 16; casting announced by May 26. Students bring a sack lunch; lunch supervision provided at no extra fee.
