ArtsCentric Summer Institute (ASI)

The ArtsCentric Summer Institute (ASI) is a musical theatre intensive run by ArtsCentric in Baltimore, Maryland. Students explore the techniques of musical theatre performance from the perspective of an actor, singer, and dancer, with both group and individual instruction aimed at training the next generation of triple threats. Summer activities include dance classes, choreography and musical staging rehearsals, acting and song analysis classes, private song coaching, and a series of master classes on subjects related to the field. The institute culminates in a full-scale musical presentation complete with lights, set, sound, a live band, and costumes. ASI is one of ArtsCentric's education programs, alongside the ArtsCentric Academy and its workshops and master classes.
