Acting Basics (High School)

Acting Basics is a one-week, half-day camp from The Globe School at Actors' Theatre of Columbus for students entering grades 9-12, running June 8-12, 2026, from 1:30pm to 5pm. The camp builds a foundation in acting with techniques in character development, cold reads, and audition preparation, and is designed for high schoolers new to theatre or looking to sharpen existing skills. Tuition is $250 per student, with $50 off each camp when registering for two or more using the code 2CAMPS; need-based scholarships are available through an online application. Camps are held at Schiller Park in Columbus, Ohio.
