This special edition of (le) Poisson Rouge's weekly party will be an homage to the old Village Gate. Dress as if it's 1965 - think Mad Men - and get ready to enjoy the pre-1965 tunes of the Golden Age of Broadway while sipping an Old Fashioned! This one-night only event on Sunday, March 27th at 9pm is free to attend and will feature drink specials.

This up-and-coming open mic night is highly recommended for show-tune lovers, Broadway enthusiasts, "Gleeks", fans of Charles Nelson Reilly, and anyone who ever wanted to do their own dream ballet; showcasing new composers and some of Broadway and Off-Broadway's best each week. Join us at the site of the old Village Gate - a nightclub/theater that opened in the late 50's and premiered a number of Off-Broadway shows, including Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, in 1968!

Hosted by ultimate theater nerd Kevin Michael Murphy(If It Only Even Runs a Minute, Craig Stevens Guide to Making it on Broadway), with Caleb Hoyer on the keys.

The Village Gate's Old Fashioned Piano Party happens every Sunday night at the Gallery Bar at (Le) Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, NYC

(le) Poisson Rouge is a 21+ venue, admission for this event is free.
