Tyne Daly Previews Her Cabaret Show to Benefit ATC 4/26, Feinstein's Run to Follow
Emmy and Tony Award winner Tyne Daly, most recently on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Rabbit Hole, will preview her cabaret show on Sunday, April 26, 2009, to benefit Abingdon Theatre Company. Her one-time performance in the June Havoc Theatre will be followed by Miss Daly's debut May 12-16 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency.Best known for her Emmy-winning work on "Cagney and Lacey," Tyne Daly won a Tony Award for her performance as Rose in the 1989 Gypsy revival. She was also Tony-nominated for her work in Rabbit Hole, and her other Broadway credits include That Summer-That Fall and The Seagull.
John McDaniel will join Miss Daly as her accompanist and arranger. Mr. McDaniel is a conductor, pianist, composer, arranger and Grammy Award-winning record producer.The performance will be in the June Havoc Theatre, Sunday, April 26th at 7:00pm. Tickets are $100 (fully tax-deductible). There will be a wine reception immediately following the performance. The June Havoc Theatre is located in the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex at 312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, 1st floor, New York City.
