THE TOWN HALL'S Seventh Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival concludes with A TRIBUTE TO Judy Garland AND THE ART OF AMERICAN DANCE on Friday, October 28th at 8pm. Produced by The Town Hall,, the festival is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel. The evening is also co-hosted by Lorna Luft, Susan Stroman.

A TRIBUTE TO Judy Garland AND THE ART OF AMERICAN DANCE will feature many of Garland's most famous songs from the movies performed by Elizabeth Stanley(Million Dollar Quartet, Cry-Baby), and Town Hall favorite, Carole J. Bufford( Broadway by the Year, All Singin' All Dancin', ) Their performances of famous Garland numbers like "The Trolley Song", "The Man That Got Away", "Zing Went the Strings of my Heart", and of course, " Over the Rainbow" will be a highlight to match the insights provided by Judy Garland's daughter, Lorna Luft, in a live, on stage interview punctuated by Stanley's and Bufford's performances.

IN THE ART OF AMERICAN DANCE, Scott Siegel and Susan Stroman will discuss the grandeur of American movie dance, particularly the brilliant solo, and duet work of such stars as Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly, Ray Bolger, Jimmy Cagney and Judy Garland. The performers include: Jeffry Denman (Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Yank!), Nancy Lemengar (Movin' Out, Never Gonna Dance), and Meredith Patterson ( Irving Berlin's White Christmas) the New York Song and Dance Company and Noah Racey (Curtains, Never Gonna Dance),The evening will feature iconic dance numbers including "Once in Love with Amy"," Give My Regards to Broadway","Get Happy",among others. The show is directed by Scott Siegel, with choreography by Noah Racey and musical direction by Ross Patterson.

The Town Hall Educational Outreach Program helps schools build their arts programs and advance student learning through standards-based, collaborative arts residencies.
