TheatreZone announces two concerts and a cabaret series as part of its 2017-18 season in addition to the five shows previously announced. TheatreZone, a professional Equity theatre, is located at 13275 Livingston Road, on the Community School of Naples campus. Jan & Dean's Beach Party Featuring Dean Torrence

Tickets are $50 - $75

The Jan & Dean Beach Party brings the California surf culture of the 1960s to life with original lead singer Dean Torrence performing the duo's hit singles, including "Surf City," "Drag City," "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena," and many more.

Backed by The Surf City Allstar Band (featuring musicians from The Beach Boys band, The Ventures and Frank Zappa's band), The Jan & Dean Beach Party delivers fun and nostalgia.

February 21 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The Mersey Beatles

Tickets are $50 - $75

The world's only all Liverpool-born Beatles tribute band was the resident band for over a decade at the world-famous Cavern Club, where The Beatles got their start. These childhood friends have played in 20 countries, selling out shows worldwide.

John Lennon's sister, Julia Baird, said, "There are a lot of Beatles tribute bands from all over the world, and I've seen them all, but The Mersey Beatles are the most authentic I have heard."

Shows, Cabaret Series, and Behind-the-Scenes Tours

TheatreZone's show schedule features Home for the Holidays (Dec. 8-10), Me and My Girl (Jan. 11-21), The Secret Garden (Feb. 8-18), Copacabana (March 8-18), and Baby (April 26 - May 6).

New this year!

Coffee, Tea and Broadway

Enjoy coffee, tea, continental breakfast items and other refreshments along with a presentation of Broadway show tunes and other favorite standards from TheatreZone actors during the new "Coffee, Tea and Broadway" cabaret series. Each performance features different songs and singers and includes a meet-and-greet with the performers. The cabarets are being held at the Moorings Park auditorium, 120 Moorings Park Drive, and are open to the public. Admission is $35. Sponsors include Moorings Park and FineMark Bank.

Coffee, Tea and Broadway takes place from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Jan. 17, Feb. 14, March 14 and May 2.

Behind-the-Scenes Tours

Artistic Director Mark Danni and Managing Director Karen Danni lead behind-the-scenes tours. The 90-minute small group tours will include views of the dressing rooms, costume storage areas and behind the stage, as well as a brief presentation about the history of TheatreZone and the opportunity to watch actors preparing on stage with mic checks and vocal warmups for the afternoon's performance. A ticket to that day's show is not required. The ability to climb stairs is required, as elevator access is not available for all areas.

  • The tours will be offered from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, and April 28. Cost for the tour is $35 per person for both youth and adults.
