The Civilians, the award-winning New York-based theater company, presents LET ME ASCERTAIN YOU: FLOPS, FAILURES AND FIASCOS on February 23, 2016, at the Metropolitan Room.

Curated by current Civilians R&D Group members Sanaz Ghajar and Colette Robert, with the support of the Civilians Field Research Team, LET ME ASCERTAIN YOU: FLOPS, FAILURES AND FIASCOS is a one-night-only performance celebrating disasters of all shades as told by those who have survived the shame, horror and glory of failing big.

The evening will feature original songs written by established and emerging musical theater talents, created from the company's interviews with real people. Songs will be by Trevor Bachman; Samantha Chanse and Christopher Larkin; Jo Lampert, Adam Cochran and Matthew Dean Marsh; Julia Meinwald and Gordon Leary; and Eric March.

The cast will feature Ally Bonino, Cindy Cheung, Nic Cory, Cornelius Davidson, Alex Grubbs, Jen Kwok, Teri Madonna, Nedra McClyde, Maria-Christina Oliveras and Chris Tyler.

LET ME ASCERTAIN YOU is The Civilians' ongoing cabaret and podcast series. Live performances are recorded and released online as a free podcast on iTunes and SoundCloud.
