FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its all-star Spring 2010 season with the debut engagement of award winning vocalist, SHEERA BEN-DAVID. Her new show, "A Heart in New York" is a valentine to the pulse and romantic push and pull of New York City, including music from composers from Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Stephen Sondheim to Annie Lennox and Carly Simon. The show is directed by Eric Michael Gillett with musical direction by Jersey Boys conductor, Adam Ben-David and also features Mat Fieldes on bass, Matt Zebroski on drums, Jake Ezra Schwartz on guitar and Robert Burkhart on cello. "A Heart in New York" runs at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

SHEERA BEN-DAVID is a graduate of New York University -Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theatre and Acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory. She has spent the greater part of her life performing: In 1993, a selection of Gershwin songs at The Caramoor Festival; a full solo concert at Merkin Hall; shows at various clubs and venues in and around Manhattan such as The Metropolitan Room, The National Arts Club, Rose Theatre at Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel, The Royal Room of The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida and many other benefits and events.

In 2001, Sheera put her love of Jacques Brel's music into an album, Sheera Ben-David Sings Jacques Brel, which both she and her brother produced. She then brought her passion to the source and performed to a sold out crowd at The Music Village in Brussels, Belgium, the home of Jacques Brel.

Sheera received critical acclaim for her debut at the Algonquin Hotel's famed Oak Room. As a result, she was awarded the Ira Eaker Award for Special Achievement at the Backstage Bistro Awards in April of 2007. In 2008, she brought a new show to The Oak Room called, "Come Summer" followed by "Let Me Sing and I'm Happy" in 2009. Both shows were given rave reviews. Sheera was then given the distinct honor of being the 2009 Julie Wilson Award winner. It was presented by The Mabel Mercer Foundation at the 20th Annual Cabaret Convention. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present SHEERA BEN-DAVID with the following schedule: Wednesday and Thursday at 8:30 PM, Friday at 8:00 PM and Saturday evening at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM. All shows have a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats available and an additional $25.00 food and beverage minimum. For all shows, there are a select amount of seats based on availability with a $40 cover charge and no food/beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
